






Ft. Worth Texas’ Troy Taylor has over 28 years of dirt track racing experience.
Through the years Troy has picked up over 500 feature victories, including the IMCA Lone
Star Modified Nationals in 2007.
Troy has accumulated 39 Track Championships and is a 5-time Texas State UMP Champion.
Troy began his racing career at Sportsdrome Speedway in the Economy Late Model division
in Grand Prairie Texas in 1980.
In the years since, Troy has competed in a multitude of divisions, including: late models, hot
stocks, limited modifieds and sprint cars. Then in 1995 began running the modified division.
Troy has raced at tracks in several states including the famous Eldora Speedway in
Rossburg, OH. Troy also raced at the IMCA Super Nationals for the first time in 2007. Troy
made the championship feature, starting 23rd and finished 14th. The event drew a field of
about 300 modifieds.
In 2008 the team is going to race in both the IMCA modified and IMCA Sport Mod divisions at
tracks in the D/FW area. The team goal is to make a run at the National points championship.
Troy would like to thank his dad Troy, Sr. who has worked tirelessly with Troy since the
beginning of his racing career as car chief. Joe Ross, Jimmy Spring and Wes Stag complete
his dedicated crew.
Troy was recently married to wife Lori and has two stepchildren, Adam and Kirby.
